Record year for Premier Watercoolers

Premier Watercoolers, the UK’s largest and fastest growing independent water cooler provider to the workplace, has announced record business growth in the last 12 months and forecasts significant business opportunities in the year ahead.

In the busiest period of the company’s six-year history, Premier Watercoolers experienced business growth of 40 per cent. The company also received almost double the number of business enquiries and bolstered its 2,000-strong portfolio of customers with a number of blue-chip business wins, including Allied Irish Bank, Reed Employment and RWE npower.

Phil Langley, Founder and Managing Director of Premier Watercoolers, said: “We grew by more than 1,000 systems in the first six months of this year alone – significantly increasing our share in the mains-fed water cooler market and exceeding our targets. The business is in a strong position despite the current economic conditions and we expect the number of water cooler placements to rise significantly in the next 12 months.”

Langley added: “A key factor behind or growth has been the successful launch of our free Carbon Emissions Assessment scheme. This is a first for the industry and enables companies to see the impact of their water cooler systems on the environment, in terms of the transportation and the energy efficiency of the dispenser equipment. Consequently, we are experiencing rising demand from corporates who are increasingly introducing energy efficient mains-fed water cooler systems to reduce their overall carbon footprints.”
