Setting the standard for watercoolers in schools

Leading children’s charity, the Health Education Trust has awarded Premier Watercoolers, one of the largest and fastest growing independent suppliers of mains fed water coolers in the UK, a unique endorsement for the high standards of its High Flow, which it specifically designed for the school environment.

More than 500 High Flow water dispensers have been sold into the education sector since it was launched onto the market last year and it is the only water cooler to be registered with the Trust’s Real Choice scheme, after it was assessed for suitability for use in schools.

Director of the Trust Joe Harvey explained: “The Real Choice initiative has been designed to raise the standard of school food and drink vending provision. It is there to help schools and vending operators achieve a healthy school vending service that reflects best practice.

“When assessing a company we ensure their products would contribute positively to a child’s dietary requirements and meet our Real Choice criteria.

“The endorsement of Premier’s High Flow is the first one we have given to a watercooler company operating in the schools market.

“Such an endorsement is designed to give schools the confidence of knowing the equipment and service they receive is of the highest quality and also to set the standard for watercoolers in schools.”
